The Baliem Valley Resort is located at 1,900 meters above sea level, in the Central Highlands of Papua, part of New Guinea Island in the most east part of Indonesian Archipelago. This 3-star resort resides on 1,100 hectares near the tribal village of DesaSekan, is enriched with magnificent views of the forest and surrounded by beautiful untouched nature. Enjoy a real trekking through the orchid garden, alpine rainforests and visit the remote Dani villages.
The resort offers 15 “Honai” styled villas created by modern craftsmanship using local architecture, including roofs made from local grass. All rooms are complete with handmade wooden furniture and interiors styled to reflect local culture. Comfortable sun-chairs on the large terrace offer fantastic views of the valley.
